Yearbook

  1. Can anyone submit photos for the yearbook?
  2. Can I submit actual photographs or artwork?
  3. In what format and minimum resolution do I need to submit photos?
  4. If I submit a photograph, will it be used in the yearbook?
  5. What is our yearbook theme for 2011-2012?
  1. Can anyone submit photos for the yearbook?
  2. Yes. The process for submitting photographs is quite simple. If the event is related to a class or specific grade level event, anyone can submit their photo for consideration to the following volunteers at these email addresses:

    Kindergarten: Bethany Balsis at kgphotos@vespto.com

First Grade: Cristina Hammad at 1stphotos@vestpo.com

Second Grade: Claire Brasser/Allison Saulino at 2ndphotos@vespto.com

Third Grade: Michelle Spencer/Megan Carey at 3rdphotos@vespto.com

Fourth Grade: Lisa Taylor at 4thphotos@vespto.com

Fifth Grade: Kellye Annibell/Cindy Klus at 5thphotos@vespto.com

For any other events you can submit to Lisa Taylor/Michelle Spencer at yearbookphotos@vespto.com

  3. Can I submit actual photographs or artwork?
  4. We would like to have the photographs scanned into a jpg format for ease of use and storage. If you do not have that capability, contact us at yearbook@vespto.com and we can coordinate with you.

  5. In what format and minimum resolution do I need to submit photos?
  6. The most important item is that we need to know what class/teacher is associated with the picture for future consideration. We will upload hundreds of photos for consideration when the layout is done in the spring. The file name should be changed to something descriptive, such as Crowther-Field Day 10-11.jpg. The picture can be any resolution. However, many candid photos will be cropped and the more resolution the better. A minimum of 3Megapixel resolution is strongly suggested.

  7. If I submit a photograph, will it be used in the yearbook?
  8. We will have hundreds and hundreds of photos to consider. Since we have a large school and many pages are used by simply class and staff photographs, not all pictures can be used. The yearbook committee will review and consider, based on space and content, all photographs submitted. An added benefit is that all photos archived this year can be made accessible for end of the year activities and teacher/staff gifts.

  9. What is our yearbook theme for 2011-2012?
  10. Our yearbook theme is "Who Let The Dogs Out". We are very excited about this idea since it lends itself well to a lot of fun phrases and ideas. It ties in well with our main PTO fundraiser this year, the Westie Waggle, and other school events.
